AGROBRIDGE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural construction. SUBSTANCE: agrobridge has girder movable on self-propelled carts with agricultural tools attached thereto, hopper, jacks, control cabin and auxiliary power and processing equipment, and is further equipped with device for turning self-propelled carts in opposite directions through 90 deg. Turning device has upper and lower plates resting through bearing balls upon both sides of supporting plates. Upper plates have toothed portions, whose teeth are cooperating with teeth of gears turning them in opposite directions. Agrobridge has conveyor extending along girder under hopper throats and is equipped with reversing motor-reducer, guarding cheeks and discharge conveyors mounted at girder ends. EFFECT: increased efficiency due to discharge of hopper in the process of advancement of agrobridge, and improved keeping of fields. 7 dwg
