FIELD: mechanical engineering; preparation and delivery of fuel. SUBSTANCE: method relates to preparation and delivery of hydrocarbon fuel to be fed into gas-turbine engine. According to proposed method, preparation of fuel is carried out by supersaturation of fuel with gaseous nitrogen to nitrogen content in fuel up 20-32% by volume at gauge pressure over fuel surface in tank of 0.8-1.4 atm gauge, with subsequent delivery of gaseous nitrogen through fuel layer with simultaneously vacuummizing space of tank over fuel surface. Said method provides residual content of oxygen in fuel equal to 0.1-0.3, water 0.0007 - 0.0009% and nitrogen 2-3% which makes it possible to use fuel at below-zero ambient temperatures without formation of ice crystals and to increase time of fuel storage and to provide reliable starting after long period of storage.
