FIELD: armament, applicable in weapon using liquid propellant. SUBSTANCE: weapon has a barrel with a bore, charge chamber, sliding needle with a conducting duct and a sliding breechblock with a through gas-conducting conduit installed at the inlet of the barrel bore, the charge chamber is made in a drum with a rear end wall; at least three charge chambers are made in the drum similarly to the first one. The drum is installed in a frame for rotation, the barrel with the sliding breechblock is secured in the frame coaxially with the chamber, installed in the hole in the frame is a needle for movement to the chamber positioned before the chamber, aligned with the breechblock, and fastened in the frame under the barrel, before the drum is the feeding mechanism of the shell holders, the rammer is installed in alignment with the chamber located before the chamber aligned with the needle. Fastened in the frame over the sliding breechblock is the feeding mechanism of shells to the barrel bore, and the breechblock and the rammer are connected by a tie-rod, having a hole passing the rod of the piston located in the gas cylinder connected to the barrel bore, the rod is connected to the slide block having a cam surface duct with curvilinear and rectilinear sections. The slide block with the cam surface duct is engaged with a ratchet-and-pawl mechanism fastened on the drum, the rod has the first stop located before the tie-rod at a distance equal to the curvilinear section of the cam surface duct, and the second stop positioned just behind the tie-rod. The tie-rod carries a spring-loaded catch engageable with the hole made on the rod, and with the profile strip attached under the barrel, with its rear section the needle is positioned in the tie-rod hole, and has the first stop installed directly before the tie rod, and the second stop installed behind the tie-rod, the stops are installed for displacement and fixation. EFFECT: enhanced rate of fire and reliability of operation of the weapon units. 2 cl, 3 dwg
