FIELD: instrumentation engineering, aids measuring level of liquid and loose media in closed volumes. SUBSTANCE: detector of discrete level gauge has protective case, switch, membrane. Protective case comes in the form of hollow rigid support with longitudinal through groove. Groove is shut by plate with windows. Switch is placed on inside in each window and membrane is positioned on outside of each window. Membrane is made of elastic material, tightly closes each window and is mated with spring-loaded core of switch. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of detector. 3 dwg
