Spring-loaded toothed rakes are pivotally mounted forward of machine. Shaft with spiral-shaped teeth is paired with comb and drum is provided with screw. Rake drive is kinematically connected with machine drive. Knife with digging tools is fixed in front part of feeding elevator. Comb is mounted on frame for receiving tuber mass from elevator. Bucket elevator is adapted for lifting tuber mass into preliminary separating screen. Machine is provided with crumble breaking unit.
