FIELD: medicine, mammology, gynecology, endocrinology. SUBSTANCE: medicinal preparation is suggested to be used in treating mastopathy based upon laminaria concentrate and other additional substances. The suggested preparation is obtained out of thallus, rhizoid and leaf stalks of brown algae of laminaria type, it contains not less than 0.1 mg iodine and 9 mg highest fatty acids per 1 tablet or capsule. "Mamoclam" is of pronounced curative action in mastopathy- suffering patients - diffuse fibrous-cystic disease of mammary glands: decreases mastalgia phenomena, syndrome of premenstrual tension and disalgomenorea, normalizes menstrual cycle, leads to regression of palpatory signs of fibroadenomatosis and cysts in mammary glands, improves mammographic picture.
