FIELD: acceleration equipment, modeling of micrometeorites and man-made particles. SUBSTANCE: high-speed solid-particle accelerator includes injector, variable reluctance pickups, amplifiers, linear accelerator, source of fixed high voltage, cylindrical electrodes, selector of velocities and target. Additional variable reluctance pickup connected to selector of specific charges connected to generator of frequency and pulse duration in pulse burst varying in time is mounted in gap between injector and linear accelerator, uniaxially to them. Outputs of additional variable reluctance pickup are connected to interface linked to computer and to amplifier of pulse burst of variable duration whose output is connected to cylindrical electrodes and whose input is connected to stage generator. Since accelerator includes selector of specific charges and is designed to alter duration of pulses in burst there is no necessity to utilize cylindrical electrodes of different length as duration of each pulse in burst is computed and is function of initial speed, specific charge of particle, pulse number and geometry of acceleration path. Employment of selector of specific charge in combination with selector of velocities makes it possible to compute and form required burst of pulses for any particle which enables phase incursion to be diminished and consequently range of accelerated particles and number of accelerating sections to be enlarged.
