FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: protective layer is made flat and comprises portion defined by curved notches, surface adapted for contacting with user's body and opposite surface adapted for contacting with toilet bowl surface, central, middle and end parts arranged between folding and unfolding lines alternately formed over the entire surface of layer so that said layer may be folded into transportation position, with its surface contacting with user's body being oriented inside. Opposite corners of surface contacting with user's body are folded inside alternatively along folding and unfolding lines toward its central part, and tightly adjoin to it. Layer end parts of one pair of opposite corners are arranged between folding and unfolding lines. End parts of other pair of opposite corners project beyond folding line. Portion defined by curved notches is connected to basic web by means of connecting members and is provided with unfolding line arranged between notches. EFFECT: simplified construction, increased convenience in use and provision for keeping hygienic properties of layer. 8 cl, 6 dwg
