FIELD: equipment for protecting respiratory organs under emergency conditions. SUBSTANCE: respiratory apparatus of chemically bound oxygen type has regenerative cartridge accommodating perforated enclosure comprising regenerative product, starting device, gas distributing device, filtering device, as well as breathing bag and respiratory organ isolating unit, with said bag and said unit being connected to cartridge and enclosed in casing. Gas distributing device has paired perforated inserts positioned on perforated tube connected to breathing bag. Perforated inserts are connected along perimeter to define in conjunction with tube closed cavity. Filtering device is positioned on perforated enclosure and connected to respiratory organ isolating unit.
