FIELD: metal protection. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for chemical treatment of metals chiefly intended to form protective nonmetallic layer on the surface of cold- rolled steel before laying lacquer coating. Invention can be applied in mechanical engineering and instrumentation engineering for treating car bodies, instruments, and other post-stamping parts. Water based composition contains, wt %: orthophosphoric acid 50.0-60.0, acetone (reaction accelerator) 3.0-4.0, and, additionally, ammonium nitrate 1.5-2.0, urotropin 0.15-0.2, and nonionic surfactant 0.01-0.05. EFFECT: accelerated and simplified treatment of objects and enabled use of any kind of lacquer coating.
