FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: protective coating is composed of two layers and is adapted for applying onto textile material base, with synthetic material of polyester or polyamide filaments being used as base. Coating material is polymeric composition based on low molecular silicon-containing liquid rubber with filler used in an amount of 0-15 weight parts per 100 weight parts of rubber in the form of polymeric mixture and hardener used in an amount of 3-10 weight parts per 100 weight parts of polymeric mixture. Filler is silicon dioxide-aerosil. Hardener is methyl triacetoxyl. Fabric is waterproof, has good resistance to flexing and frost resistance, as well as high thermal stability. Coating has reduced rigidity and wear resistance. EFFECT: improved qualities of fabric with polymeric coating providing good protective properties. 2 cl, 2 tbl, 3 ex
