The hollow cells of the honeycomb filler are positioned on logarithmic spirals outgoing from the center of the honeycomb and intersecting at an angle of 90 deg. and made decreasing in cross-section from the peripheral zone to the center of the honeycomb. Made in one of the surface plates are through holes communicating with the air spaces of the hollow cells, the diameter of each hole is proportional to the cross- section area of the respective cell and its resonance frequency and is determined by a dependence. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of sound absorption of wide-band sound sources. 3 dwg
