DUST-COLLECTING FAN Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry; designed for dust control in operation of mining machines and equipment. SUBSTANCE: dust-collecting fan has body accommodating impeller with blades, suction collector with fluid sprayer dust-separating chamber with slime-withdrawing branch pipe and outlet diffuser with flow straightener. Impeller has foam-generating net installed on free ends of blades over entire area of impeller external surface. Dust-separating chamber has dust-separating grate and separated into slime and foam sections by foam-withdrawing partition. Body and suction collector are made with cavities communicating foam section with impeller internal cavity. Slime-withdrawing branch pipe has valve opening into foam section of dust-separating chamber. EFFECT: higher economic efficiency and efficiency of dust separation. 2 dwg
