DOUBLE-ROTOR MULTICHAMBER INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: according to invention semi-cylindrical slots with rectangular slots as extensions are made on tips of teeth of outer rotor. Roller and blades mating with rollers are fitted in said slots. Through holes are made in rotor opposite to slots of blades in which blade pushers are arranged. Counterweights are installed on pins for movement on periphery of outer rotor to provide constant pressing of blades to rollers and rollers to working profile of inner rotor teeth. Counterweights are made in form of double-arm lever of the first order, with arms differing in mass. Larger arm is loaded by compression spring installed in blind hole made on periphery of rotor, and smaller arm thrusts against pusher and presses blade with roller to tooth of inner rotor. Distributing disks are installed on end faces of inner rotor concentrically relative to rotor and shaft. Axial intake and exhaust ports are made in each disk communicating with fuel mixture supply spaces and exhaust gas outlet spaces. Ports are located opposite to teeth of inner rotor, skipping one tooth, in pairs for overlapping the ports by end face surface of outer rotor when port passes from one variable volume chamber to adjacent variable volume chamber.
