FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel system devices. Proposed carburetor of internal combustion engine contains compensating channel connecting air space of float chamber with venturi air channel communicating air space of chamber with intake branch pipe and spool passing through air channel and mechanically coupled with shaft of throttle valve. Air space of carburetor float chamber is connected with exhaust manifold through flame arrester and idling channel provided with adjusting screw. Spool passes through idling channel, air channel and compensating channel, idling channel and air channel being made offset in space passage. Flat is made in land of spool overlapping air channel off the plane of air channel axis. Throttle valve is mechanically coupled with gate installed in exhaust manifold. Drive of spool and gate has common tie-rod. EFFECT: simplified design of carburetor, improved operating characteristics. 7 dwg
