FIELD: afterburners of air-breathing jet engines. SUBSTANCE: the afterburner has an external wall with detachable bodies and heat shields, fuel manifold, front device with radial flame stabilizers evenly arranged in circumference in the flow of gases of the flow- through path. The stabilizers can turn along the axis of the afterburner by means of a drive mechanism made in the form of a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder is hinge-joined to the rear flange of the external wall. The external wall and the middle parts of the stabilizers are provided with brackets. The brackets of the external wall are hinge-joined to the outer ends of the stabilizers are hinge-joined to a link adjustable in length. The second end of the link is connected to a double-arm lever, which, in its turn, is connected to the rod of the hydraulic cylinder. The axle of the double-arm lever is made with locating cylindrical journals carrying on the outer side lateral brackets and conjugate on a light-running fit to the holes made in the detachable bodies of the external wall. EFFECT: reduced hydraulic loss in the afterburner at a reheatless rating, enhanced reliability of the devices turning the stabilizers along the longitudinal axis of the afterburner. 4 dwg
