FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed axial-flow fan includes central hub and many blades with blade roots and blade tips. According to one version, blades are located at different angles relative to one another which may change from 0.5% to 10% as compared with configuration at equal intermediate angles (θ=) for fans having the same number of blades. It is good practice to bound blades by convex edge whose projection on plane of rotation of fan is defined by parabolic segment and concave edge whose projection on plane of rotation of fan is formed by arc of circle. EFFECT: reduced level of noise; enhanced efficiency; easy balancing of fan impeller. 11 cl, 10 dwg
