FIELD: optical sights for small arms for firing in the day time and at night. SUBSTANCE: a double-segment light-emitting diode radiator is used as a light source of the device for forming of the sighting mark, its segments serve as the sight scale. A mirror coating is applied onto the convex surface of the plano-convex lens of the optical collimator unit and made in the form of a laminated interference coating of alternating layers with a high and low indices of refraction equal to the optical thickness corresponding to a quarter of the wavelength of the maximum of reflection, as well as of an additional layer with an optical thickness equal to one eighth of the wavelength of the maximum reflection. The wavelength of the maximum of reflection equals the wavelength of the maximum of the spectral density of radiation of the light-emitting diode radiator. The values of the indices of refraction of the alternating layers are so selected that the width of the band of reflection spectrum at the level of the half of the maximum of reflection would not exceed 115 nm. EFFECT: enhanced serviceability of the sight within a wide band of illumination, reduced dimensions of the sighting mark. 2 cl, 8 dwg
