FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to developing explosive compositions suitable for blasting operations by blast- hole and borehole charges in mining industry. According to invention, explosive composition contains 93.8-90.8% granulated porous ammonium nitrate, 4,8-1.8% liquid petroleum product, and 1.4-7.4% peat. Content of petroleum product and peat, which corresponds to stoichiometric ratio oxidation/combustible, is determined in terms of relationship Y=K-aX, where X is content of liquid petroleum product (%), Y content of peat (%), K=11.49-10.53, and a=1.93-2.10. Liquid petroleum product can be diesel fuel or mineral oils, or mixtures thereof. EFFECT: enhanced explosive efficiency for breaking different-rigidity rocks. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
