FIELD: petroleum processing industry, by-product coke industry and electrode production. SUBSTANCE: rotating refrigerator has horizontal cylindrical heat-exchanging hollow casing equipped with charging and discharge openings. Heat-exchanging hollow casing is positioned for rotation inside outer casing and rigidly fixed to it, with space between casings being used for circulation of cooling water. Water discharge pipe is positioned in central part of heat-exchanging hollow casing and communicated with space between said casings in zone adjoining to part, where refrigerator is charged with coke. Said pipe is extending from zone, where coke is discharged from refrigerator. Water is supplied with the use of pipe communicated with space between said casings in coke discharge zone. EFFECT: increased efficiency of refrigerator, increased heat extraction capacity and simplified construction. 1 dwg
