COMBINATION WOOD-WORKING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed machine contains bedframe on which front and rear tables are mounted, cutter shaft, disk saw, turnable plate and drive. Plate is hinge coupled by one of its edges with bedframe. Rods are hinge-secured on opposite end of plate. Rods are installed in bushings mounted on lower surface of table. rods are provided with chamfers and threaded holes are made in walls of bushing into which screws are turned to contact with chamfers. To adjust wood-working machine for cutting of slot in blank, plate is installed at height corresponding to depth of slot, and rods are clamped by screws. Owing to provision of chamfers there is no necessity to apply heavy force to screws and displace then over large distance in axial direction. To adjust wood-working machine for sawing, screws are to be backed off through several revolutions and plate is to be lowered onto table. To adjust wood-working machine for jointing, plate should be removed from machine. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
