SUBSTANCE: switchback, according to first version, has guiding track with ascending portion having vehicle lifting device, device for speeding up passage by said vehicle of track portion joined to ascending portion end. According to second version, switchback has guiding track with loop portion and vehicle. Guiding track is provided with half-loop portion, whose leading portion is joined to end of loop portion and tailing portion is joined to portion laterally extending from half-loop portion.
