FIELD: radiolocation, support of low-altitude flight of aircraft with the help of self-sufficient radar aids. SUBSTANCE: technical result is aimed at simultaneous solution of two tasks: quick survey of space and increased measurement accuracy of coordinates of surface objects during low-altitude flight which contributes to flight safety. Technique of space scan and tracking of surface objects includes consistent data processing in discrete time with referencing to each present clock tn of processing obtained in process of space scan with utilization of directivity pattern of antenna showing fan form and occupying N positions along horizontal with formation of surface relief with little scan period and directivity pattern displaying needle form and sounding separate chosen sections of scan zone with monitoring of relief in dynamics with little scan period. Both directivity patterns are formed by one antenna system with electron-controlled beam. EFFECT: quick survey of space and increased measurement accuracy of coordinates of surface objects.
