FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: granulated hexogen designed for initiation means is prepared by adding, to hexogen suspension in 2.5-3.5 weight units water with 0.00509.01 weight units explosive (oleic acid/triethanolamine mixture), polymeric binder solution, e.g. polyvinyl acetate and dichloromethane taken in amounts 0.004- 0.02 and 0.1-0.4 weight units, respectively, after dichloromethane is distilled off at 39-60 C, reaction mixture is cooled to 35-40 C, and solid phase is separated from liquid phase in the form of granules, which are finally dried. EFFECT: achieved flowability of hexogen allowing its passage through funnel with internal cross-section diameter of tube 5 mm with velocity at least 100 g/min, which provides heat resistance of detonating cord made therefrom. 3 cl, 1 tbl
