FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is used to protect inner surface of pipeline from corrosion. According to proposed method, one-layer or multiplayer cloth envelope is coiled in direction square to its longer side and is driven into pipeline. Each of envelope layers are turned inside out and secured over perimeter on end of pipeline. Envelope is displaced under action of air pressure differential, is pressed and glued to inner surface of pipeline. Airtight hose is used for driving in, displacing and pressing of envelope. Said hose, before driving in, is placed outside the envelope which is wetted with flue pumped preliminarily into pipeline space between envelope gluing front moving in steps and torus placed in front. Envelope and hose are displaced and pressed to inner surface of pipeline for period of polymerization of glue using gauge air pressure. Air is delivered using hydraulic seal from side of pipeline inlet end. After gluing of envelope to pipeline walls, hose is taken out. EFFECT: improved quality of pipeline coating. 3 cl, 2 dwg
