FIELD: salvo-fire rocket armament. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in determination of the periods of oscillations of the stack of the guide rails in the form of sinusoids for the inclined and vertical planes and the time of their beginning from moment of the projectile launch, fixing of the values of the first maximum deflection of the stack of the guide rails to the left and the subsequent maximum deflection to the right from the prelaunch position, calculation of the time of the beginning of the subsequent periods of oscillations in the inclined plane, and the values of the maximum deflection to the left for each of them, selection of the periods with the maximum deflections to the left within the boundaries of the preset pass band of the amplitudes of oscillations, prediction of the estimated time of the beginning and end of the "start-launch" intervals for each considered period of oscillations and a quarter of the period of oscillations, in which the stack of the guide rails will be present in the vertical plane for the moment of launch of the launched projectile. The pauses between the projectile launches for each launcher have no constant value and are determined proceeding from the condition of provision of launch of each projectile in a salvo only in the movement of the stack of the guide rails to the right and its maximum deflection to the right at the moment of interruption of mechanical coupling of the projectile with the guide rail and in the movement of the stack of the guide rails in the vertical plane as far as possible from top to bottom.
