FIELD: civil engineering, design of glass blocks. SUBSTANCE: glass block for openings in rooms includes at least two glazing sheets installed in opposition, thrust members placed between sheets and attached to glazing sheets by means of adhesive joint, hinges and stoppers. Thrust members are fabricated from clear material. Adhesive joint is realized with use of adhesive compound which forms medium transparent for light beam after hardening together with glazing sheets. Hinges and fasteners are anchored on glasses or thrust members by means of above-mentioned adhesive compound.
