FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains housing and lock with spring-loaded bushing. Lock is made in form of two connecting parts coming into engagement. Projections on surfaces on surface of one of parts get into recesses on surface of other part. Spring-loaded bushing encloses connecting parts brought into meshing. Through channel of housing is provided with narrowed section in upper part for engaging with spring loaded bushing at disconnection of sucker-rod string. Drain valve with ring gate is installed in housing wall. Ring projection to knock down the gate is made below spring-loaded bushing of lock. Projection is found at a distance from bushing providing knocking down of gate of valve before beginning of interaction of spring-loaded bushing with housing. EFFECT: provision of disconnection of sucker-rod string from pump plunger. 1 dwg
