FIELD: testing and determining properties of materials, technology of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method establishing coefficient of separation of solid phase by liquid phase in dispersed system includes determination of density of liquid phase, density and volumetric mass of solid phase and calculation of coefficient of separation with due account of volume and mass characteristics. When Nl/s is greater than N coefficient of separation of solid phase by liquid phase is calculated by formula α = γs(Nl/s•ρsl)/ρs•ρl, where α is coefficient of separation of solid phase by liquid phase in dispersed system, dimensionless value; γs is volumetric mass of dry solid phase, g/cu cm; ρs is density of solid phase, g/cu cm; ρl is density of liquid phase, g/cu cm; Nl/s is mass ratio of liquid and solid phases, dimensionless value; N = ρl(1/γs-1/ρs). EFFECT: reduced labor input to test of raw materials, increased accuracy of established value with allowance for greater number of characteristics of components of dispersed system, possibility of projection of compositions of compounds and building materials with utilization of given invention.
