FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: composition for barrier in flat display panel, which is a group of display monitors such as panel of plasma or liquid-crystal indicators, or for part of such barrier contains 50-85% of glass or ceramic powder and 15- 30% of binder. The latter comprises light- or heat-hardenable resin (epoxide alicyclic resin, glycidyl ether- or bisphenol- based resin, epoxy-novolac resin, vinyl ether, epoxydated olefins) or photopolymerizable monomers and photothermopolymerization initiator (sulfonic salt) or its mixture with photopolymerization initiator in amount 0.1- 0.6 wt parts per 100 wt parts of binder. Binder can further contain hardener and accelerator in case when epoxide resin is contained in binder. Composition is molded, solidified, and undergoes heat treatment at 500-650 C.
