FIELD: automatic control of production processes. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control of set providing main line pumping of working medium (water, chemical solutions, oil, gas, etc.). Production process sets are main equipment of production stations, for instance, heat, power, compressor, gas transfer and other like stations Under any operating conditions in case of failure of first controller (automatic control and protection controller) and operation of signaling device NO AUTOMATIC CONTROL order is formed and, without stopping the set, channel of first controller is switched off and information from channel of second controller (emergency one) is displayed at operator's post, and after localization of abnormal conditions, restored channel of first controller is placed in operation, and information from this channel is again displayed at operator's post. Invention improves reliability of operating equipment without increasing its price. Moreover, possibility of potentially dangerous cases is prevented.
