FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: transformable clothing piece is made in the form of shorts and straps detachably connected with shorts and provided with connecting member, chest pocket detachably joined by means of buttons to connecting member. Chest pocket has bottom with button base positioned outside bottom in its mid portion and detachable textile zipper fastener for connecting bottom with wall lower edge to define pocket cavity. For transforming clothing piece into shorts free of straps and back pack with cavity defined by said chest pocket, straps disconnected from shorts are connected to one another with their ends through buttons and button bases so as to form back pack. For transforming clothing piece into shorts with straps and cap having flap and shield, cavity of chest pocket detached from connecting member may be transformed into reversible cap flap, which may be attached to outer part of bottom for forming cap. EFFECT: simplified construction and transformation procedure and wider range of clothing piece transformation versions. 3 dwg
