FIELD: systems transmitting power from engine. SUBSTANCE: proposed power plant includes generator, drive with transmission of constant speed of rotation and cooling system. Engine fuel is used as working fluid both for transmission and for cooling system. Transmission is made in form of hydromechanical drive with positive-displacement hydraulic motor which is kinematically linked with generator rotor and with engine. Functionally hydraulic motor is connected with positive-displacement drive motor by means of closed hydraulic circulating loop. Delivery pump and scavenge pump are of positive- displacement type; they are kinematically linked with generator rotor.
