SUBSTANCE: method involves determining identification-significant properties on X-ray picture take taken during one's lifetime and determining identification-significant properties on postmortem X-ray picture. The results are compared. Individual differences of bone segments (anatomical, age-specific, pathological and posttraumatic) detected in visual way are ignored. The relations set between linear sizes of selected bone fragments on lifetime and postmortem pictures built as a result of mathematical calculations and measurements are taken into consideration.
