FIELD: oil and gas producing and geological exploration industries. SUBSTANCE: detachable wedging casing head includes pressing cathead and detachable flange consisting of two semiflanges with inserts and rubber sealing member and made for installation on adjusting clamp. Bodies of semiflanges have rectangular inclined recesses. Detachable flange is made for clearance-free installation of its semiflanges on casing string and engagement with string having outer diameter deviated from nominal one and oval in shape. Detachable flange inserts are made separate and wedge in shape and located in rectangular inclined recesses of semiflange bodies by pairs. Flange inserts come in engagement with string under action of wedge with its forced radial motion up to wedging of inserts in gap between string pipe and body of detachable flange. EFFECT: higher safety of attending personnel and provided reliable engagement of detachable flange with casing string. 4 cl, 1 dwg
