FIELD: mechanical engineering, construction. SUBSTANCE: invention is used in manufacture of gasket materials to provide sealing, for instance, in vehicle engines. Proposed multiple-layer gasket material is formed by lining of elastic sheets of sealing material with perforated metal framing. Sheets of sealing material are lined from both sides over outer surfaces with perforated metal framing with burrs of perforation holes from one side. Then metal framing and elastic sheets of sealing material are passed through calendar or pressed together between two planes to provide penetration of burrs into elastic sheets of sealing material after which burrs are bent to connect sealing material with metal framing. EFFECT: improved resistance of gasket material to high specific pressures. 1 tbl, 1 dwg
