FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbojet engines; testing methods. SUBSTANCE: according to invention engine thrust axial component Rxo is measured with engine operating by means of three-component force measuring system with nozzle in neutral position, and then nozzle is deflected into extreme upper and then into extreme lower position and measurements are taken of three components of engine thrust, namely, axial, horizontal and vertical. Then relationship is calculated and, if result is within the interval of 0.999 and 1.005, nozzle is considered sound. EFFECT: provision of effective method of evaluation of quality of rotating nozzle.
