DEVICE FOR PRINTING AND DELIVERING SEMIRIGID LABELS TO PACKING-AND-SEALING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: packing facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for printing and delivering semirigid labels (tags) 5 to packing-and-sealing machines, such as spring sausage the making machines. Device contains feed mechanism to pull label plate from feeder and transport the plate along guide to unloader. Feed mechanism, in its turn, contains at least one pin 13 mounted on one side of carriage 12 installed for reciprocation in parallel with guide 4. Roller 15, secured on other side of carriage and designed for printing or embossing, is installed so that it rises at working stroke of carriage with pin 13, and at reverse stroke it presses following label to fixed printing matrix 18 furnished with replaceable sets of symbols. During working stroke, pin 13 gets behind projection of following label and shifts it definite through trajectory, and at reverse stroke it slides along following label until it gets behind projection of said label at end of reverse stroke. Thus position is provided at which each separate label (tag), after printing, is delivered to sausage tube for being fastened. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 7 dwg
