FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of door closing includes displacement of door leaf having butt for arrangement of hinges and free butt in door frame by its turning, plane-parallel displacement of door leaf with subsequent fixing of at least one end in door frame and its locking with the aid of cross-bar lock. Plane-parallel displacement of door leaf is executed with the help of butt for arrangement of hinges and movement of free butt of door leaf along protrusion formed by strip attached over entire height of door frame on side of free butt. Fixing and locking of door leaf in door frame is carried out by movement of cross-bar of lock and its interaction with door frame. Method of door closing with fixing of butt of door leaf located on side opposite to location of crossbar lock is also possible. Door block includes door frame with space facing door leaf which has butt with hinges and free butt and is mounted for turn and plane-parallel movement with regard to door frame, cross- bar lock and handle. Each hinge is fitted with intermediate hinge coming in the form of laminated springs, handle is located near free butt of door leaf, door frame has strip placed near free butt of door leaf that forms protrusion along entire height of door frame.
