PROCESS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ZONALLY-INHOMOGENEOUS OIL FIELD Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil production, development of oil deposits, development of inhomogeneous oil fields. SUBSTANCE: given process includes drilling-out of producing and injection wells according to design well pattern, bringing into service of additional injection wells in low-permeability collector, change of direction of filtration flows in formation, alteration of operational modes of producing and injection wells drilled into low-permeability formations. After drilling-out of oil field in compliance with well pattern, mud-injected sections in low-permeability zone of formation, producing wells drilled into low- permeability formations and injection wells drilled into high-permeability formations are exposed. Then injection wells with horizontal shafts are added in sections with low-permeability collectors. Shafts are directed towards mud-injected section. Formation pressure in low-permeability zone of formation is kept in excess of pressure in high-permeability zone. Horizontal shaft is sunk below supposed dynamic level of liquid while well is operated with flow out. EFFECT: increased efficiency of process due to raised rate of oil withdrawal from low-permeability zones of formation. 1 cl, 3 dwg
