FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submersible sectional electric motors designed for driving pumping units operating in wells. Proposed electric motor consists of detachably connected upper and lower sections. Each section contains housing accommodating stator and rotor. Splines are made on lower end of rotor shaft in upper section and upper end of rotor shaft in lower section. Said shaft ends are interconnected by spline coupling. Antifriction bushing is fixed on outer cylindrical surface of spline coupling. Bushing is installed to provide axial rotation in axis hole of support member secured in central hole of housing of lower section. Invention is aimed at pr3eventing wear of surface of rotor shaft of upper stage on section of location of end radial bearing and decreasing radial runouts of rotor shaft ends owing to decreasing cantilever formed at radial connection of shafts. EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life of electric motor. 6 cl, 2 dwg
