FIELD: gas transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: to calculated rotational speed assignments, intermediate value is used determined by difference of directly or indirectly measured value of characteristics to be adjusted (pressure at compressor set complex outlet, compression ratio of compressor set complex or flow rate of gas transported through compressor set complex) and preset value of said characteristics using algorithm corresponding to one of known regulation laws. By referring obtained value to number of compressors handling the load, mean required value of rotor speed of each compressor is determined. Then to determine preset speed of shaft of each gas-turbine drive, basing on measured speeds of shafts of gas-turbine drive gas generator, shaft of compressor, temperature of combustion products before gas generator turbine and/or power turbine of compressor gas-turbine drive, pressure behind compressor of gas- turbine drive, gas pressure at compressor inlet and pressure drop across compressor contraction, values of margins to limits of shaft speed, combustion products temperature, pressure in combustion chamber, compressor inlet pressure and distance to compressor surge boundary are determined and obtained value are reduced to one range of values are averaged with due account of directionality of limitations, thus obtaining generalized values of margins to upper and lower limits per each compressor set. Using generalized values of margins and mean required value of compressor rotor speed, required value of compressor rotor speed for each compressor is determined which is transmitted to local automatic control systems of compressor sets as control assignment (action). Use of proposed method increases control range of complex of compressor sets. EFFECT: improved resistance to disturbing actions as to load and change of environmental conditions, increased range of control of compressor set complex. 5 dwg
