FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: superplasticizing additive that can be used for increasing mobility of concrete and mortar mixes is prepared from 0.32-0.45 wt parts industrial-grade lignosulfonate (50% solids), 0.05-0.07 wt parts alkali component: sodium carbonate or potassium carbonate, and water (to 1 wt part), the mixture thus prepared being then heated to 80 or 100 C and purged with air at constant control of redox potential until it reaches its minimum value. EFFECT: reduced decelerating effect of superplasticizer on hydration process and cementation time and reduced amount of additive. 1 tbl
