FIELD: veterinary science, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicinal agents used for treatment of canine parvoviral enteritis and to methods for application of these medicinal agents. Preparation for treatment of canine parvoviral enteritis comprises medicinal substances and solvents. As medicinal agents the preparation contains glucose, ascorbic acid, niacin, thiamine chloride, cobalt chloride, tricrezan, para-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester, para-hydroxybenzoic acid propyl ester, sodium hydroxide, ethyl formate, paraformaldehyde, ortho- -phosphoric acid and distilled water is used as a solvent being substances are taken in the following ratio, g %: glucose, 4.95-5.0; ascorbic acid, 4.9-5.0; niacin, 0.23-0.25; thiamine chloride, 0.23-0.25; cobalt chloride, 0.01; tricrezan, 1.05-1.0; para-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ester, 0.034-0.035; para-hydroxybenzoic acid propyl ester, 0.0148-0.015; sodium hydroxide, 0.22-0.23; ethyl formate, 0.19-0.2; paraformaldehyde, 0.85-0.9; ortho-phosphoric acid, 0.084-0.085; distilled water, the balance. Method for treatment of paraviral enteritis involves parenteral administration of antiviral preparation by subcutaneous route in the dose 2 ml, two times per a day for 3-5 days. Invention provides reducing material consumptions for treatment by 1.5-fold, reducing treatment time by 1.4-fold, reducing recovery period and promotes to more favorable course of disease.
