METHOD OF CONTROL OVER GATHERING OF OIL PRODUCTS FROM WATER SURFACE AND GEAR FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning of water areas from oil and oil products, cleaning of any water surfaces from settlers to rivers and lakes. SUBSTANCE: method of control over gathering of oil products from water surface includes intake and separation of water and oil products in oil trap under action of centrifugal forces with adjustment of flow rate of oil products removed by hydraulic pump from oil trap. Additional control over oil products removed from it is carried out by change of vacuum in accumulation tank for oil products. Gear for implementation of method has vacuum multiproduct hydrocyclone oil trap with feeding branch pipe and branch pipes of heavy and light phases of liquid. Branch pipe of heavy phase of liquid of oil trap is linked to hydraulic pump. Branch pipe of light phase of liquid is connected to accumulation tank. Accumulation tank is connected to vacuum and hydraulic pumps to form rarefaction in it. Control over oil products removed from oil trap is realized by change of rarefaction in accumulation tanks which contributes to intensification of gathering of oil products from water surface.
