FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be utilized to form lateral incipient cracks in rock mass for its directional loosening by development of plane of fluid rupture and for ensuring optimal conditions for underground mining of mineral wealth. Proposed device includes body housing cutter, pusher and thrust guide in the form of through bent channel for cutter communicating with space of body. Ring nosepieces with holes through which cable is passed are installed between pusher and cutter. One end of cable is made fast to cutter and its other end is linked to body via spring and axle. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of device thanks to diminished probability of failure of cutter and possibility of increase of radius of lateral bags. 1 dwg
