FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: processing of title fractions is distinguished by that they are processed on reforming installations provided with hydrofining units. Prior to be subjected to hydrofining, feedstock is freed of organochlorine compounds, which are subjected to selective hydrogenolysis on catalysts containing, as active components, alumina-supported metals: nickel and molybdenum or cobalt and molybdenum, or palladium, followed by removal of organochlorine compounds' decomposition products. Hydrogenolysis on palladium catalysts is carried out at feedstock flow rate 1-5 h-1, pressure 15-25 kg/sq.cm, and 100-250 C; on other catalysts, 1-4 h-1, 18-25 kg/sq.cm, and 200-300 C, respectively. Removal of decomposition products is accomplished by adding (to gas product mix) neutralizing agent, in particular ammonia or urotropin, or by hot separation of gas product mix. EFFECT: improved quality of product, extended resource of raw materials, and reduced losses. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 6 tbl, 5 ex
