FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for protecting computer memory against unauthorized access through random communication channel depends on division of data received from public communication channels and on reception of data processing control commands arriving from computer being protected and includes recording of all incoming messages during each session in peripheral memory device closed on protected computer end, closing of peripheral memory device input on communication channel end, sorting of nonempty set of arriving messages and separation of at least one nonempty subset of files from the latter, processing of message in each of mentioned subsets to find out if they are needed and can be included in database and/or in knowledge base, and/or in software of computer being protected. Proposed device has peripheral controller, means for data exchange between peripheral message sources and protected computer, video buffer, and input selector switch. EFFECT: reduced probability of unauthorized access to memory of computers under protection. 10 cl, 1 dwg
