METHOD FOR ANALYZING PREDISPOSITION TO DEVIANT BEHAVIOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, psychology. SUBSTANCE: one should determine threshold of pain sensitivity. At combination of threshold of pain sensitivity not exceeding 7 sec and pronounced features of choleric and hyperthymic temperaments one should detect a person with the tendency for afferent reactions and situat-ioninduced pathological disorders in patient's behavior. At threshold of pain sensitivity up to 7 sec in combination with choleric temperament and pronounced excitable accentuation it is possible to detect a person with possible acute affective reactions. At threshold of pain sensitivity up to 7 sec in combination with melancholic temperament and pronounced dysthymicity one should detect a person with possibility for affective suicide due to inclination to depressive reactions. At combination of threshold of pain sensitivity being below 15 sec, pronounced introversion, melancholic temperament and dysthymicity it is possible to detect a person with internal predisposition for true suicide. The method enables to increase the degree of significance in detecting inclination for deviant behavior that gives the possibility to conduct correction preventively.
