FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing plants adapted for absorbing of chemical elements from soil, with following mowing thereof, with legumes grasses being sown on contaminated soil. At stalk-shooting phase in the year of sowing, heavy metal content in green mass is determined. In case heavy metals concentration at said phase is lower than maximum permissible value by less than 2 times, grass biomass is allowed to grow until flowering phase with further use as feed. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced soil toxicity. 1 tbl
